Stanley # 602 Type 6 Bedrock Smooth Plane This Stanley #602 smooth plane is a type 6. Stanley offered these with the single line cap for about 10 years beginning in 1910 or so. I believe the cap is a newer recast. The plane has been lapped and tastefully cleaned. I believe the japanning is original. The wood is nice, and damage free.

Stanley Type 9 - 10 # 8 Jointer Plane This #8 has attributes from both type 9 & 10 planes. That would date this from 1892 - 1907 or so. The plane body is a type 9, but it has a later V logo cutter than called for in the type study. Also the nice decaled handle is a bit later than a type 9.
